YARNING CIRCLES 

Our Yarning Circles provide a space for information to be shared, guided by current affairs, questions from the public and internal themes arising.

CALENDAR AND JOURNAL 

Our Calendar highlights significant days of observation and introduces significant times of the year for First Nations Peoples and our Journal has been designed as a resource to record reflections regarding the calendar focuses, including your experience in wanting to understand and/or apply the knowledge into doing (action).

SPIRITUAL HEALING 

Our Spiritual Healing provides practical tips for self-care and maintaining a balanced wellbeing, and will introduce innovative concepts for infusing cultural wellbeing practices in contemporary and urban settings. The space will promote significant cultural healing activities and locations, where permission has been granted for the public to access for the purpose of spiritual healing or connecting to land.

Acknowledgement of Country

NICCAS Cultural Infusion Services pays respect to the Traditional Custodians and their Elders, past, present and emerging, who have been the caretakers of the many First Nations Countries we are privileged to live and work.

 

We recognise that all the traditional First Nation Countries have their own Dreaming, and as the keepers of the cultural knowledge, respect the leadership role Traditional Custodians play in preserving, protecting and passing on this knowledge to their children, whereby, emphasising the importance of maintaining the culturally inherited connections to the land and the cultural obligations of being a Traditional Custodian.

 

NICCAS Cultural Infusion Services is located on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. We pay respect to their Elders, past, present and future and acknowledge the presence of their people’s fighting spirit embedded across these lands.
